The Sommeiller Hotel is the oldest hotel in Bardonecchia and first opened in 1884. The hotel has been recently renovated. Large spaces and airy rooms characterise the hotel, the bright apricot-coloured hall and the new brick-red bar create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel restaurant is renowned for its excellent cuisine, which spesialises in regional cuisine. The vintage-style rooms are spacious and bright with private facilities partly overlooking the large Piazza Statuto and partly the courtyard. The famous Via Medail with shops, cafes and restaurants is within walking distance. The ski lifts are about 1,5km away. The ski bus stop is 100m.
